What is a design-build firm?
Design build firms have the in-house capability of taking your building ideas from a mere concept to a completed project. Our experienced design team works with you, incorporating your ideas as well as offering experienced design advice. We will take your project from the conceptual design stage through completed blueprints which will function as building permit and construction documents for our lead carpenters in the field. Because our craftsmen and our designers work closely together, there is a seamless interface as we move from the design phase to the construction phase. Since you are working with one entity throughout the project, it is easier to maintain control over budgets.
Design-build benefits: Because we are a design build firm we offer a consistency throughout the project that simply can't be matched using a design company that is separate from the craftsman. We have removed the proverbial “us and them” from the construction equation. Our in-house designers receive constant feed-back from our craftsmen in the field allowing us to continually refine our designs. This makes our preliminary estimates accurate working tools for the design process.
