The outdated kitchen in this lower Queen Anne split level home was an eye sore and an immediate focal point when entering the home. The dark cabinets and outdated appliances contradicted much of the homes interior details which included new bright white crown molding and freshly painted walls. With a minimal budget, the homeowners hoped to update the kitchen for resale in the next year. The project included new cabinets, new appliances, granite countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash. In addition to the updated the look, the vinyl flooring was replaced with hand scraped tyke wood planks. With the rich neutral color palette, this new kitchen will be aesthetically pleasing to any future home buyer and a major selling point for resale. This project also included basic upgrades to the two main floor bathrooms.
