This Queen Anne home’s expansive views of Elliot Bay were not being used by the home owners because of two decrepit decks that faced the water. To utilize the space more efficiently, we designed two sunroom additions, one off the kitchen and one off the bathroom to enable the homeowners to use this space year round. The master bathroom design took advantage of the privacy of the home but accentuated the view by placing the soaking tub directly in the window. The removal of a standard tub and the extra square footage allowed for a new large shower and walk in closet as well as a larger master bedroom. With the outside elements as our inspiration, the neutral color palette helped to emphasize the gorgeous view and luscious landscape.
