This Maple Valley home had some distinguishing characteristics, so when the homeowners decided to add value to the home, they hoped to use the modern style to influence the design. With angled walls and a modern flair, the home was truly a diamond in the rough, nestled away in the surround trees. This project consisted of a two story addition, with the extension of the master bath room where a tub room and walk in closet were created. On the lower level, the addition created a workshop to allow easy access for the riding lawn mower to drive in. The workshops custom barn doors were hand crafted in our shop, and built specifically for this space, containing craftsmanship details desired by the homeowner. The weathered cedar shingles were impossible to match, so the addition was covered with new shingles and over time, will blend more evenly with the existing siding.
